I am so happy to be a new team member here at Southwest Preparatory School. I was born and raised in Brooklyn New York, and moved to North Carolina; were I resided there for 30 years. I recently moved here to Texas to join my church family that I joined during the time of the pandemic. I am a bible school teacher and choir member at my church. I love showing love and respect to my peers as well as my children. I love engaging with my students, learning them on a one on one basis.
My Goal and Philosophy
My goal in my position here at Southwest Preparatory is to prepare students for real life situations and careers. I realize that every student is not the same, and I do recognize them as being there own individual person; with different backgrounds, ideas and goals. I do believe that every student has the ability to learn, when given the opportunity. It is my desire to make sure that every opportunity is offered to them, by introducing resources and people in the community. I will enjoy making this successful journey with each and everyone of my students.
