Sierra Testerman

Hello and welcome!

I’m excited to be part of the Southwest Preparatory Seguin family, where I’ve been working since 2022. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with students across all age groups. This year, I’m thrilled to focus on our third through fifth graders, providing them with targeted reading and math interventions to help them thrive academically. I can’t wait to see their progress and celebrate their successes!

Though I’m studying Cyber Security at the University of Texas at San Antonio, my heart is truly dedicated to our school and the amazing kids I get to work with every day. There’s something so special about seeing the light-bulb moments and helping our students shine and discover new things. 

When I’m not at school, I’m at home with my pets (two dogs, two cats) or hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy practicing any instrument I can get my hands on - currently, it's the flute and piano, though I also know how to play the guitar and trumpet. Some of my favorite things are the color purple, learning anything and everything about space, getting my nails done, and spicy food :)

I’m eagerly looking forward to the 2024-2025 school year and can’t wait to meet and work with all our new students. Go Eagles!
