Welcome Students & Families,
My name is Mrs. Danielle Korn and I serve our campus as the First grade teacher. In the past, I have worked as our Kindergarten teacher, Career Teacher Leader, Instructional Coach and Mentor. For the 2022-2023 school year, I was honored as Teacher of the Year. To further our school's mission and vision, I serve on our Summer Slam committee and co-lead our English Language Arts professional learning community. Recently through TEA, I earned my Master teacher designation celebrating the growth achievement my students and I have made. I am thrilled to begin a new school year where together we work to develop our little learners!
Here are a few things to help you get to know me: My heart is here to help facilitate a safe learning environment. I graduated from Texas State University (Go, Cats, Go!) and am always pursuing more development. I recently earned my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership along with a Principal Certification. My husband, Travis and I have one amazing little girl named Taylor and one big furry dog named Riggins. We are expecting a new addition to our family this Fall! I love exercising, random dance celebrations, coffee, and cooking.
