About Info
I have lived in Texas all my life. I grew up in a small town called Floresville (just south of San Antonio). The country rural life is where I love to live, which is why I currently live in Seguin, TX (east of San Antonio). After graduating High School in 1999 from Floresville High School, I was accepted to Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. I enjoyed all four years as an Aggie and found a love for College Football. I graduated in 2003 from A&M with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, with a Minor in Psychology . Upon graduation I got a job as a Research Assistant at University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio where I was in involved in research for Congestive Heart Disease and Asthma. All though this didn't turn out to be my future job to be in the medical field, I pursued my education degree at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, TX. In 2006, I started working as Southwest Preparatory School Alternative School, moved to their Southeast Campus as the Secondary Science teacher and Academic Dean for the campus. Finally in 2020, I have settled at the Seguin Campus for my first year as the High School Math and Science teacher and currently the Assistant Principal for the campus.
When I'm not working, I do love to be outside with our animals (cows, classroom pets and nature). I also have recently found a hobby in doing some wood work to make furniture and decor items for our recently new home. This past summer we added a new member of our family Max (an adorable and well behaved Labradoodle). During Snow-vid, we got another furry friend Emma (Chocolate Labrador).
Our family has grown by 2 more, we adopted siblings. Our daughter Jenni is currently in the 3rd grade and Damien in a brand new Middle School in the 6th grade. During the summers, we enjoy family time together going RV camping around our great state of Texas.
