High school seniors and juniors from Seguin ISD, Navarro ISD, Marion ISD, and Southwest Preparatory School will gather at Seguin High School’s Wellness Center to participate in Seguin Career Day, an interactive and dynamic experience that facilitates a connection between high school students and local Seguin businesses. 

Seguin Career Day is an event implemented by the Seguin Economic Development Corporation to ensure the long-term viability of employers within the Seguin community. For years, Seguin employers have reported a sizeable gap between the talent that they need to keep growing their businesses and the talent they can find. Over the past couple of years, the Seguin Economic Development Corporation has collaborated with existing industry, local school districts, and other economic development partners to try and close the skills gap and create a stronger talent pipeline.
